1980 - Folks attending the Rockpile show on February 6, 1980, 37 years ago today, probably didn't expect much from the opening act, the unknown Horace Barlow Band. When thee group took the stage, however, the crowd got quite a surprise. Turned out that The Horace Barlow Band was in reality Elvis Costello and The Attractions, working under an assumed name.
