Elvis Costello 1996 - #1:  In May 1996, Elvis Costello released his 17th studio album, entitled All This Useless Beauty, which was both his final disc with his long time backing band the Attractions. To support the a;bum, To promote the album Costello hit the road full force, not only playing concerts but also also making TV appearances, playing live on several morning radio programs and even playing several "secret" unannounced gigs. Attractions pianist Steve Nieve backed Elvis for the tour.
