The Beach Boys were yet another act that played Live Aid as part of the effort to raise funds to end end the famine in Africa. They also been a long time supporters of Hungerthon, donating signed memorabilia to the annual charity auctions.
This soundboard recording captures the Beach Boys 3 years before Live Aid, playing a set at the World Music Festival in Jamaica on November 26, 1982, 34 years ago today.

Dennis drowned, not Carl. Carl died of cancer.
It was Dennis Wilson that drawn, not Carl, who lived 15 more years and died of cancer.
Hey my friend....it was actually Dennis who drowned. Carl died many years later from cancer.Love your Blog!
