Welcome to our first post at So Many Roads featuring 10,000 Maniacs. Only took us 7 years! The band lent its support to WhyHunger by playing at the 1987 Hungerthon benefit on November 21 of that year. The show was heard live on WNEW-FM in New York, the premier rock station in the country at the time and a long time supported of Hungerthon. You'll learn more about WNEW in this month's edition of of What A Long Strange Trip Its Been, which we'll post on November 27.
This soundboard recording captures 10,000 Maniacs 5 years after their Hungerthon concert, in Miami on November 10, 1992, 2 dozen years ago today.

Speedy, I would really like to download this show but when I click on Zippy's down load tab I get some nasty pop-ups (typical for Zippy)) but the download box doesn't appear. Any chance you could take a look at this one. To Sir With Love is great 60's cover that I've never gotten in a set list before so this is highly desired!
