2000s - #2: In 1985, in the wake of comments made by Bob Dylan at Live Aid discussing the plight of the American Farmer, John Mellencamp, Willie Nelson and Neil Young teamed up to found Farm Aid. Since that first concert in 1985, Farm Aid has worked tirelessly to raise awareness about the loss of family farms and to raise funds to keep farm families on their land. Over the years, Farm Aid has raised more than $60 million to help American farmers. This soundboard recording captures Neil Young at the 29th anniversary Farm Aid concert on September 18, 2005, 16 years ago today.
