The band celebrated their 15th anniversary in 1980, and the shows during the 2nd half of the year, in San Francisco, New Orleans and New York that included an acoustic set, get most of the attention. But some pretty fine playing was going on during May of that year as evidenced by the fact that portions of the May 6, 7, 15 and 16 shows have all been officially released. This soundboard recording captures the band durng that fine month, in Glen Falls on May 7, 1980, 46 years ago today.  The show features several tunes - Alabama Getaway, Lost Sailor, and Saint Of Circumstance - from the band's recently released labum Go To Heaven, the first with new keyboardist Brent Myland. That disc woul dbe the Dead's last studio album for 7 years, until the release of  In The Dark in 1987.
