In 1981, Joan Jett released the 2 albums that would forever define her career. In January of that year, Bad Repulation hit stores, and rose all the way to #51 on the Billboard Charts. That disc was followed in November by the album, I Love Rock and Roll. Powered by the title track, which would spend 7 weeks as the #1 single in the US, Jett's 2nd album climbed all the way to the #2 position on the charts.
