Grateful Dead - 1982-09-20 - Madison Square Garden, New York, NY (SBD)

I saw the Grateful Dead 50 times between 1977 and 1995, but didn't catch a single show in 1982.  I was in grad school at the time, working on my MBA, with lots of night  classes so I couldn't catch many concerts that year.  In any event, I don't have much first hand knowledge of the Dead from that year, but  I do know that they debuted a host of new tunes, such as Throwin' Stones, Touch Of Grey, and West LA Fade Away which would eventually appear on their only top 10 album, In The Dark, which wouldn't be released until 1987, 5 years later!
