My buds and I went to the 9/25 show. George Thorogood rocked the opening crowd, Journey put them to sleep, then the Stones immediately kicked butt with the unexpected decidedly un-P.C. opener Under My Thumb. I remember the extra-wide staging gave Mick a lot of space to play to the audience, while Keith & Ronny slunk around trading riffs. Killer tour.
