Dion took his place in the Rock Hall of Fame in 1989, alongside Otis Redding, The Rolling Stones, Phil Spector, The Temptations and Stevie Wonder. Born in the Bronx, Dion always had ties to New York City, so it's no surprise another legend with connections to "the city that never sleeps" made the induction speech, the one and only n Lou Reed! This FM Broadcast captures Dion at the legendary Bottom Line night club in New York on September 11, 1978, 37 years ago today.

I just want to say thanks and i have been a big fan of the site for about a year. I am a 51 year old Jersey guy and have been to many of the same shows as you if not the same tours. Saw Robert Hunter at the Bottom Line in 1984
