JAPAN - In September 2018, Paul McCartney launched his Freshen Up tour, designed to support his latest album release, Egypt Station. That disc went to #1 on the Billboard charts, his first #1 album since Tug Of War in 1982. It was also his first album ever to debut at the top spot, and became his 8th overall #1 album. In late October, McCartney brought the tour to Japan for 4 shows. This IEM Matrix recording captures the extended rehearsal on October 30, 2018, 2 years ago today and the day prior to the the first show in Japan.
