JAPAN - On October 16, 1990, Paul Simon released the album Rhythm Of The Saints, his 8th solo studio disc. The disc would climb to #4 on the Billboard charts, and received 2 Grammy nominations, for Album of Te Year and Producer Of The Year. Critical review for the album were also strong with Rolling Stone and Blender giving the album 4 stars while Entertainment Weekly graded it an A plus.  In early 1991, Simon launched the Born In Th Right Time Tour (taken from the name of the one oif the songs on Rhythm Of The Saints) in support of teh disc,  The tour would run in 1992 and take Simon to all 6 inhabited continents -  North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa.  This soundboard recording captures him in Japan during that tour, on October 12, 1991, 29 years ago today.
