2000: Bob Dylan launched the 3ed US leg on his 2000 Never Ending Tour on October 29, 2000. play16 shows before ending the run on November 19. Most of the concerts were held on college campuses, such as Purdue, Michigan, Lehigh, Northwestern and Duquesne, jsut to name a few. On November 17, 2000, 17 years ago today, Dylan brought the tour to my alma mater, Princeton, as captured in this high quality audience recording. Tickets were just $12 for seniors, $17 for other undergrads and $25 for faculty, staff and alumni. The show was held in Dillon Gym, which holds just about 2000 people. The larger gym on campus, Jadwin, has been off limits to concerts ever since the November 1, 1978 Springsteen concert. At that show, fans standing on chairs put thousands of pock mocks into the Jadwin basketball court causing thousands in damage as the hardwood floor needed to be completely refinished!

Thanks for sharing this.
IMHO, 2000 was one of the very best years of Mr. Dylan's career insofar as live performances are concerned.
Glad you enjoyed - and thanks as always for the kind words!
