2001: In the wake of the horrific terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 U2 almost cancelled the fall leg of their world tour in support of their critically acclaimed album, All That You Can't Leave Behind. They decided to go on, however, knowing that cancelling shows would be a sign that the terrorists had won in their gambit to disrupt the lives of free people around the globe. During this tour, songs from their recent album All That You Cant Leave Behind, s Beautiful Day, Walk On, Peace on Earth and New York, all took on new meaning in the wake of the tragedy of 9/11. U2's tour would help heal America, culminating in a landmark performance at the Super Bowl in February 2002. This soundboard recording captures U2 during that historic, emotional and cathartic run in Salt Lake City on November 9, 2001,16 years ago today.
