At Farm AId 2007, Gregg Altman, in addition to playing with the Allman Brothers Band, did two solo numbers. He teamed up with Willie Nelson on Midnight Rider, and played with Dave Matthews and Warren Haynes on Melissa. Of course. Gregg and Warren had worked together for years when Haynes was a member of the Allmans.
This soundboard recording foreshadows the Gregg & Warren collaboration at Farm Aid, capturing the duo playing live together a year earlier, on September 2, 2006, a decade ago this very day, at Red Rocks!
