October's Theme At So Many Roads

After celebrating Farm Aid in September, we decided to commemorate Neil Young's other major charitable venture in October.  So, our October theme will be : The Bridge School Benefit.

It will be 30 years this October since the first B ridge School concert was held on October 13, 1986. The concert has taken place every year since with the exception of 1987. In addition, the show has been held at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA each year with the exception of 1988, when it was held in Oakland. The show had been a 2 day affair every year since 1994, with the exception of 1995. Most years, the show had been held the last weekend in October

Every concert we post in October will either be from one of the Bridge School shows, or feature an artist who at one point performed at those concerts.  Hope fully, all his fine music will inspire you to go here and contribute to this worthy cause.
