Jimmy Buffett is listed as having played at the first Farm Aid concert in 1985. That said, no set list can be found anywhere on the web nor is any video available. So, does any one know if he was really at the show?

Hi Speedy my friend...i checked around a bit and one site has Buffet listed as being there but wikipedia does not have him as having performed:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farm_Aid
so perhaps he was suppossed to but didnt....
hope youre doing well and all the shows you went to this summer were great! summer makes one miss Jerry more and more these days...those memories of the old days, when there was a real Grateful Dead still...wolfclan
Yes - its quite a mystery my friend. One Jimmy Buffett fan site lists the date on the 1985 tour list, but provides no set list. Another has an events list by year and makes no mention of Farm Aid.
In any event, hope all is well. I do miss the days when we had a real Grateful Dead, especially in September when the band would arrive in NY for the fall tour and stay for anywhere from 5 to 9 shows! Always fun trying to get to as many o fthose as I could!
Speedy those 2 shows in september 82 will always stand out as a fond memory for me..you should check out the 2 spring shows in hartford as well..simply wonderful...wolfclan
Love long concerts. The quality of this boot is top notch. Thanks a lot.
And thank you for all the nice comments on this and some of the other shows I've posted recently!
