Today's post goes back about a year before Lou's first Farm Aid gig, during his 1984 tour in support of his 13th studio album, entitled New Sensations. The title was an apt one, as the disc showcased a new tone to Reed’s music. Unlike his previous work, the album was filled with upbeat tunes, including the incredibly catchy opening track, I Love You Suzanne. This soundboard recording captures Lou at the legendary Capitol Theatre in Passaic, NJ, on September 25, 1984, 32 years ago today.
