Well, as the Summer Of Love began in June 1967, Neil Young was supposed to be on stage at Monterey Pop, playing with Buffalo Springfield. But Neil skipped the counter culture's celebration of peace and love because he was angry with Stephen Stills.  As would be the case throughout their 50 plus year musical and personal relationship, Neil and Stephen were feuding. And whenever that happened, Neil would usually just leave, such as in 1970 and 1974 at the end of CSNY Tours, in 1976 during the Stills Young Band tour, and so on and so on.  No matter how bad it gets though, somehow Neil and Stephen, (and David Crosby and Graham Nash) seem to patch it up and get back together. Maybe they'll do so again in 2019 o commemorate the 50th anniversaries of CSNY and Woodstock. In any event, this high quality audience recording captures Neil a quarter of a century after Monterery Pop, at the Garden State Arts Center (now the PNC Bank Arts Center) in Holmdel, NJ on June 25, 1992, 25 years ago today.  I was at his show  and Neil was in fine form, playing tunes from the soon to be released Harvest Moon disc! I also remember the endless lines to buy T-Shirts that read "Don't Spook The Horse", even though this was a solo show and Crazy Horse, Neil's sometimes backing band, was no where to be found!  PS - this one may be slightly below normal quality standards but given I was there, I wanted to share it!
