We open our tribute to May 1977 with the first of two Lou Reed posts this month,
this one from the Netherlands on May 1, 1977, 36 years ago today. While Lou was
ostensibly on tour to promote his 1976 album, Rock and Roll Heart, in reality,
he was using these live shows to test out material for his next disc, which
would be Street Hassle. The set list (probably incomplete) for this show is a
perfect example. Both Better Get Up And Dance and Affirmative Action (PO #99)
would subsequently be abandoned completely. Such A Pretty Face" would eventually
mutate into Wait. It would later appear on the Street Hassle along with Shooting
Star, Real Good Time Together and Gimmie Some Good Times. Download
this soundboard now, then come back on May 11 for another Lou Reed
show.

Sorry - I don't save or post anything in FLAC. Takes too much space to save and too much time to download/upload
Thanks,still sounds great ,I guess it is a lot of hassle uploading and downloading flac. for a long time I couldn't even play flac because windows media player ,real player ecc would not recognize flac files, discovered something called media monkey a while back and playing flac hasn't been a problem since,you mentioned the hassles from your end concerning flac, do you know why its so hard finding a program to even play those files, Please respond and thanks for your great site,PS I cant really tell much difference
Sorry - can't help you really about FLAC as I don't use those files so I've never looked into music players for them.
Mp3,as you say,much easier to work with than flac,and is still good quality.
