Pink Floyd's 1977 In The Flesh Tour (also known as the Animals tour, after their most recent album), was notable for many reasons. First, the band took a unique approach to the set list, with the first half of the show being the entire Animals disc; the 2nd half comprising the entire Wish You Were Here album; and the encores coming from the Dark Side of The Moon release. Second, the staging featured the famous inflatable puppets and a pyrotechnic waterfall. Third, throughout the tour, Roger Waters had numerous confrontations with the audience, ranging from yelling obscenities to spitting in the face of a fan, all of which would serve as fuel for the band's next album, The Wall. Fourth, this run would be the last world wide tour with Waters (Waters did play the Wall shows in 1980 but that was a limited to 4 cities), who would eventually leave the band in 1985. Finally, this is yet another post from May 1977, a historic month for comcerts. This recording, aka "Animal Instincts" is probably the best show I've heard from the "Animals" tour.

This IS the best recording out there of the Animals tour. I saw this tour in Southern CA at Anaheim Stadium, just before this show. Big floating pig was a mind blower. I loved this time period. My favorite stuff being Dark Side, Wish You Were Here and Animals.
