This show is a very fond memory. Some friends & I were on our usual East Coast Dead tour (just a few shows, we weren't rich) but the shows we had just seen weren't the best and we were feeling unfulfilled ... so on an impulse we drove the 800 or whatever miles to Deer Creek with no tickets and no idea what we'd do when we got there!

Well, we found tickets within minutes of arriving (even though it was sold out) and the show was laid back, a little sloppy, and utterly delightful. I had just ended a very toxic relationship just days before and Bird Song was like some kind of deep emotional purge.

Highly recommended, though obviously I'm not a objective judge!
