Welcome to another one of those not quite expected posts in a month celebrating the Grateful Dead. The Who in their entirety never played live with the Grateful Dead, though they did share the bill on October 9 and 10, 1976, as well as on March 28, 1981. It was at that last performance that Peter Townshend of The Who joined the Dead on stage for 5 songs. To commemorate that collaboration, we bring you this soundboard of The Who from July 9, 2000, 15 years ago today.

Thanks for posting this because I went to this show, 9th row on the Ox's side. During Magic bus Entwistle takes his hands fret hand off the bass and sips some tea. I think the Page and the crowes was the very next night.

I saw them at the PMC Art Center in Holmdel NJ on 01Jul. The Pretenders opened with a pocket show. The day before, I was also there to see the Black Crowes with JPage. Any chance you'd have that show to post?
