Our 3rd concert on July 4th is an FM broadcast featuring the legendary reggae artist Jimmy Cliff live in Switzerland on July 4, 2008, 7 years ago today. Readers of our blog may know that Jerry Garcia often included two Jimmy Cliff tunes, The Harder They Come, and Sitting In Limbo, as part of his solo shows. What you may not know is that Cliff actually joined Garcia on stage to perform The Harder They Come at Berkeley's Greek Theatre on August 26, 1989. Go here to see video of that moment.
